What You'll Do
Gyptech is seeking a Regional Service Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for quoting and execution of all service projects in assigned region by cultivating local relationships and managing a team of Technical Advisors and Field Engineers.
Your role will involve:
- Accountability and responsibility for growing/maintaining customer site relationships and profit/loss for assigned region.
- Developing winning service proposals.
- Conducting customer visits to generate growth and develop relationships.
- Working with key local stakeholders to provide a best-in-class service experience to the Gyptech & MSP customer base.
- Project management of service projects with responsibility for overall safety, quality, on-time delivery and profitability of projects.
- Managing Technical Advisors' billable time to targets.
- Supporting annual sales planning and growth.
This position is based remotely in Western USA with the requirement to travel to customer plants on a consistent basis.
What You Offer
- Engineering degree or technical diploma (mechanical or controls). Alternately, a demonstration of equivalent experience (e.g. millwright, maintenance etc.).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- ERP experience highly preferred.
- Self-starter who can communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Experience and technical understanding of heavy industrial or material handling equipment.
- Wallboard manufacturing experience an asset.
- Strong service mindset.
- Computer skills required, including full Microsoft office suite.
