Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring smooth operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk activities, assisting guests with their needs, and performing auditing tasks to maintain accurate financial records.

Duties

  • Greet and check-in guests upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
  • Manage phone systems effectively, responding to calls promptly and professionally.
  • Process guest check-outs efficiently while ensuring all charges are accurate.
  • Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and reporting.
  • Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner.
  • Assist with reservations and manage room assignments as needed.
  • Address any guest complaints or issues promptly, striving for resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Skills

  • Proven experience in front desk operations within a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
  • Excellent phone etiquette with strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and phone systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address guest concerns efficiently.
