About Us

ARTSHU Studio is a professional art education studio committed to developing creative thinking, artistic foundations, and digital art skills in children and youth. We are expanding our digital art and animation program and are looking for an instructor experienced in 2D animation and Procreate to join our team.

Position Summary

We are looking for an Art Teacher who can teach comprehensive art classes and also participate in curriculum development. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, understands age-appropriate learning needs, and can create a warm, structured, inspiring classroom.

Responsibilities

  • Teach foundational and intermediate 2D animation (frame-by-frame, timing, movement, storytelling)

  • Teach Procreate for drawing, coloring, animation, and visual design

  • Guide students through small animation projects and digital sketchbook development

  • Demonstrate techniques clearly and adapt lessons for different skill levels

  • Provide individualized feedback that is encouraging and constructive

  • Maintain a supportive, engaging, and creative classroom environment

  • Prepare teaching materials and follow the studio's curriculum structure

  • Communicate progress and needs with the studio when necessary

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in 2D animation (traditional or digital)

  • Proficiency in Procreate (required)

  • Teaching experience with children/youth ages 8+ (preferred)

  • Solid understanding of animation principles: squash and stretch, timing, anticipation, arcs, motion, expression

  • Ability to guide students from basic to more developed projects

  • Professional training in Animation, Illustration, Digital Arts, or related fields (preferred)

  • Responsible, reliable, and passionate about education
