RResponsibilities & Duties
Strategic Leadership & Oversight
- Provide overall leadership and direction for all business units: restaurant & bar, pro shop, golf academy, and screen golf operations.
- Directly manage and mentor department managers, ensuring alignment with company goals, policies, and service standards.
- Serve as the key liaison between ownership and department managers, ensuring smooth communication and accountability across all teams.
Financial & Business Management
- Take full responsibility for the financial performance of the golf center, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue and profit targets.
- Monitor consolidated financial reports and KPIs from each department manager, ensuring cost control and revenue optimization.
- Approve and oversee major purchases, vendor contracts, and capital projects.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly consolidated operational and financial reports to ownership, providing analysis, insights, and recommendations.
Departmental Oversight & Coordination
- Ensure restaurant & bar, pro shop, academy, and screen golf managers deliver on service quality, staffing, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Hold regular management meetings with department heads to review performance, resolve issues, and align strategy.
- Provide support to managers in problem-solving, staffing, customer relations, and policy enforcement.
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives such as promotions, events, and bundled membership offerings.
Customer Experience & Membership
- Oversee membership strategy and pricing, ensuring department managers deliver consistent value to members.
- Maintain high standards of service across all areas by setting expectations for managers and conducting regular evaluations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with VIP members, guests, and community partners.
People & Culture
- Lead, coach, and evaluate department managers, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.
- Approve staffing plans, payroll budgets, and key hiring decisions for each department.
- Ensure all managers adhere to labor regulations, HR policies, and performance standards.
Marketing, Events & Community Engagement
- Collaborate with marketing team and department managers to develop campaigns and promotions that drive membership, restaurant traffic, simulator bookings, and retail sales.
- Oversee execution of tournaments, events, and community initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand positioning.
- Represent the golf center as the senior executive in community, media, and partnership opportunities.
Experience:
- Retail shop: 5 years (required)
- Managing golf or sport shop: 3 years (required)
- Playing golf or understand golf: 2 year (required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
