Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Tractor Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal from roads, parking lots, and other designated areas during winter weather conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of snow removal and mechanical operations, as well as the ability to operate various equipment effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Operate snow plow tractor vehicles to clear snow and ice from roads, driveways, and parking lots.
  • Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment, including checks on mechanical systems and fluid levels.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for snow removal tasks as needed.
  • Assist in landscape maintenance activities during off-season periods, if interested in year around employment work.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely responses to weather conditions and maintain safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating snow plow tractor vehicles or similar heavy machinery.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.
  • Ability to reach tractor on own in the night, own vehicle to reach tractor.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Experience with excavators, hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance tasks is preferred. Join us in providing essential services during the winter months while contributing to the overall maintenance of our landscapes throughout the year if interested year around.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $24.00-$2,535.67 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week
