Overview

We are seeking a skilled Snow Plow Operator to efficiently manage snow removal operations during winter months. This role requires a dedicated individual capable of operating heavy machinery and performing maintenance tasks to ensure safe and accessible commercial driveways, and parking lots. The ideal candidate will have 3 years snow plowing experience with tractors. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in challenging weather conditions while maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency.

Duties

  • Operate snow plow tractors and related heavy machinery to clear snow from designated areas
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plow equipment to ensure optimal functioning
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
  • Conduct safety checks prior to operation, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
  • Maintain detailed logs of work performed, equipment used, and any issues encountered
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize routes and ensure timely snow removal

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating excavators, snow plows, or similar heavy machinery
  • Familiarity with maintenance procedures for heavy equipment
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures in outdoor winter conditions
  • Ability to work independently in adverse weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
