 The Concessions Supervisor leads the team to ensure smooth operations, excellent customer service, and proper inventory management at the Scotiabank Centre. This role is ideal for a dependable leader with strong organizational skills and experience in food service or concessions.

Concessions Supervisor
Location: Scotiabank Centre – Halifax, NS
Shifts Available: Morning | Afternoon | Evening
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate concessions staff to ensure efficient service and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and ensure accurate stock management.
  • Oversee food and beverage preparation and service, including responsible alcohol service.
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) operations and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of concession areas.
  • Train new staff on operational procedures, customer service, and safety guidelines.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
  • Collaborate with venue management to support overall event success.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Minimum age of 18 (due to alcohol service requirements).
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in food service, concessions, or hospitality preferred.
  • Valid alcohol service certification (e.g., Serve Right) or willingness to obtain prior to start.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
