The Concessions Supervisor leads the team to ensure smooth operations, excellent customer service, and proper inventory management at the Scotiabank Centre. This role is ideal for a dependable leader with strong organizational skills and experience in food service or concessions.Concessions Supervisor Location: Scotiabank Centre – Halifax, NS Shifts Available: Morning | Afternoon | Evening Pay Rate: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate concessions staff to ensure efficient service and adherence to safety and quality standards.Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and ensure accurate stock management.Oversee food and beverage preparation and service, including responsible alcohol service.Manage point-of-sale (POS) operations and resolve any issues promptly.Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of concession areas.Train new staff on operational procedures, customer service, and safety guidelines.Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally.Collaborate with venue management to support overall event success.Qualifications and Requirements:Minimum age of 18 (due to alcohol service requirements).Previous supervisory or leadership experience in food service, concessions, or hospitality preferred.Valid alcohol service certification (e.g., Serve Right) or willingness to obtain prior to start.Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Reliable, punctual, and flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Must be able to pass a criminal background check.What We Offer:Competitive hourly wage: $18.00 – $21.00 (based on experience).Flexible, event-based scheduling.Weekly pay.Opportunity to work at a leading entertainment venue in Halifax.Supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
