Developmental Pediatrics and Rehabilitation is a portfolio within McMaster Children's Hospital. It is comprised of many different programs providing outpatient services to children (and some adults) with developmental, emotional or behavioural, physical or communication needs.

1. Communicative Disorders Assistant Diploma
2. Experience working with children with special needs (including physical and developmental disabilities)
3. Experience with providing group and individual interventions to children
4. Experience working with augmentative communication users
5. Extensive computer skills including use of Board Maker Application
6. Experience with a variety of office computer applications (Word, email, etc)
7. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment
8. Demonstrated ability to multi-task
9. Demonstrated ability to be energetic, flexible, adaptable, organized and reliable
10. Access to reliable car and willingness to drive
11. Willingness to participate in a criminal reference screening process
12. Fluency in French will be considered an asset
13. Must be able to obtain a valid Vulnerable Sector Screen (VSS)
