As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for quality and presentation.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
