We are currently seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with a variety of clients, takes ownership of their work, and is looking to develop within a modern CPA firm.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements, working papers, and supporting documentation
  • Perform year-end and month-end accounting procedures
  • Prepare personal and corporate tax returns using Profile
  • Reconcile accounts, review ledgers, and identify discrepancies
  • Support bookkeeping and data entry for client accounts
  • Communicate with clients and respond to inquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Assist with CRA correspondence and submissions
  • Collaborate with senior staff on tax planning, review files, and meet deadlines

Qualifications

  • Must live in Canada and be a Canadian Citizen or have Landed Immigrant Status
  • CPA designation or currently enrolled in the CPA program
  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, Caseware, Excel, and Profile
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and workflow
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
