Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with strong expertise in attachment-based couples therapy. This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about relational dynamics, nervous system-informed work, and helping couples move toward safety, connection, and repair.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attachment-based, trauma-informed couples therapy
  • Work with individuals from a relational/attachment lens
  • Support clients through patterns such as pursue–withdraw, reactivity, and relational rupture & repair
  • Maintain a clinical caseload of ~18-22 sessions per week
  • Offer some evening and/or weekend availability for couples
  • Participate in peer consultation and shared learning
  • Contribute to the clinic's professional presence, community partnerships, and visibility

Who You Are

You are a clinician who:

  • Holds a BCACC Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing
  • Has demonstrated experience with couples therapy and attachment-based work
  • Uses a trauma-informed, relational orientation with clients
  • Can work steadily with emotional intensity and nervous system patterns
  • Values emotional safety, depth, and collaborative practice

Preferred

Training or experience in models such as EFT, Gottman, RLT, or attachment-based modalities (Emotionally Focused Therapy is a well-established couples therapy rooted in attachment theory)

  • Experience with high-conflict, disconnected, or ambivalent couples
  • Fluency in Hindi and/or Punjabi (preferred, not required)
  • Culture & Clinical Support

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive hourly rate: Independent Contractor ( 55:45 ratio)

Flexible hybrid work (remote )
