Job Description

ECP Painters is a growing residential and commercial painting company in Calgary. We are looking for a high-performing Door-to-Door Sales Representative to generate qualified leads through face-to-face canvassing.

This role is ideal for individuals with proven in-person sales experience who are self-motivated, confident, and results-driven. This is not an hourly or salaried position — earnings are based strictly on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct door-to-door canvassing in assigned neighbourhoods
  • Engage homeowners in confident, professional, and friendly conversations
  • Present ECP Painters' services clearly and effectively
  • Generate qualified leads (book estimates / collect accurate customer information)
  • Follow provided sales scripts and talking points
  • Accurately record leads using our system
  • Represent the ECP Painters brand professionally at all times

Requirements

  • Experience in face-to-face sales (door-to-door, canvassing, telecom, solar, roofing, fundraising, etc.)
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Comfortable handling rejection and objections
  • Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Must have acces to a personal iPad or tablet for lead entry and presentations
  • Comfortable using digital forms and mobile apps

(Experience in home services or construction sales is an asset, but not required.)

Compensation

  • Commission-only position
  • Paid per qualified lead generated
  • Top performers can earn $800–$1,500 per week or more, depending on effort and performance
  • No hourly wage or base salary

Important Notice

This position is best suited for individuals who are self-employed or working as independent contractors and are comfortable with a **performance-based compensation structure.

This role is not suitable for candidates seeking hourly pay, base salary, or guaranteed income.
