Calgary, Alberta, Canada Northern Dock Systems Full time $45,000 - $65,000 per year

We are Northern Dock Systems, a National leader in installations and maintenance of Overhead & Specialty Doors, Loading Dock Systems and HVLS (high-volume low speed) fans. We are looking for Overhead Door and Dock Junior Technicians for full time permanent position at our Calgary Branch.

A competitive base hourly rate is offered and commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

As an Overhead Door and Dock Junior Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Helping with installation, field service, preventive maintenance and repair of loading dock, overhead door, commercial door equipment.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels of required parts on trucks - identify and report when quantities are low and require re-ordering.
  • Complete required forms and PMP checklists in a timely and appropriate fashion.
  • Complete ongoing required training to ensure you are able to perform your duties in a safe manner.
  • Demonstrate proper safety procedures and product knowledge

What You Will Need to Have:

  • Ideally have commercial dock and door industry experience or some exposure - good to have
  • Must be highly proficient with hand and power tools and committed to working in a safe manner
  • Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Valid driver's license with clean abstract
