Job Title: Clerk – Stores
Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining the necessary inventory levels of manufacturing supplies and tools to support production requirements.
Responsibility
- Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies and store in orderly and accessible manner.
- Process incoming requisitions and issue or distribute parts and supplies for internal use.
- Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using manual or computerized inventory system.
- Prepare requisitions to replenish parts and supplies.
- Assist purchasing personnel in procurement functions on a daily basis, order replenishment, follow up with suppliers, and expedite past due orders.
- Conduct cycle counts as per cycle count policy.
Academic/Educational Requirements
- Completion of secondary school or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Required Skills/Experience
- Strong inventory and stock keeping capabilities.
- Able to read and interpret blueprint drawings.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
