The Receiving Clerk / Warehouse Associate is responsible for overseeing all incoming and outgoing inventory, as well as managing tools, materials, and equipment within the warehouse and company service vehicles. This role ensures all materials are received, recorded, stored, and distributed efficiently to support smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record all incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Replenish warehouse and service vehicle stock levels while maintaining precise inventory records.
  • Coordinate and track returns, damaged goods, and warranty claims in a timely manner.
  • Assist with regular and cycle inventory counts, ensuring all records are updated accurately.
  • Maintain and track all tools, materials, and equipment for both warehouse and service vehicles.
  • Ensure new service vehicles are equipped and stocked according to company inventory protocols.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and field teams to forecast material needs and prevent shortages.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and clean warehouse environment that aligns with company standards and safety policies.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field.
  • Valid forklift operator certificate
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong mechanical or technical understanding of plumbing and/or HVAC systems.
  • Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems considered a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a steady-paced work environment.
  • Works well independently but thrives in a collaborative team setting.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Experience:

  • Fleet management or coordination of service vehicles.
  • Inventory control or warehouse process improvement.

Licenses / Certifications:

  • Forklift License (preferred or required depending on site needs).
  • Valid Driver's License with a clear record (required).
