Market Fresh is a family-owned, single-location specialty grocery store that specializes in providing customers with high-quality products and good service.

Market Fresh's deli is home to many of the highest quality meats and cheeses sourced locally and internationally. Many of the cheeses are unique to Market Fresh.

Guelph's own Market Fresh is seeking a deli clerk to complement our deli team.

A deli clerk prepares, packages, receives, and stocks product.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist customers with deli selections and share knowledge of products
- Receive product orders
- Merchandise displays attractively and rotate products per quality and First In First Out (FIFO) standards
- Clean and sanitize workstations thoroughly
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting

**Qualifications**
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Basic knife skills
- Knowledge of cheese and meats highly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Part-time hours: 15-30 per week
