Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work, Commercial, and possess a strong understanding of electrical systems. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and working with various tools, ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs meet safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in, commercial environments.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform low voltage wiring for various applications as required.
  • Collaborate with construction teams during renovation projects to ensure proper electrical installation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing electrical work.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role in an commercial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including fire alarm.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation related to electrical work.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in the electrical trade.
  • Experience in construction or renovation projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
