Typical Day in the role:

  • Soliciting and writing business requirements in response to the regulation.
  • Executing and creating test cases.
  • Defining business solutions for the requirements.
  • Building controls around the solution (process, database solution).
  • Reading rules and understanding business requirement, writing test cases.
  • Interact with the following stakeholders: Technology group, compliance, legal and other business stakeholders (confirmations, settlements).
  • 25-30% in meetings/ working groups to understand how everything comes together and overall impact.

Must have skills:

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of recent experience as a Senior Business Analyst
  • 5+ Capital Markets experience - Preferably Prime Services or Sec Lending background.
  • 3+ years of experience in working on regulatory projects for other equivalent regulations; namely SFTR, CAT, FINRA, TRACE or CIRO trade Reporting
  • Experience with Prime Services and Sec Lending products
  • Well balanced understanding of regulations in business and technology

Nice to have skills:

  • 10c-1a rules knowledge
  • Working Experience and knowledge of systems such as Anvil and Global One

Education:

  • Bachelor degree, Post-secondary or relevant work experience.
