Senior Business Analyst

Job Description:

Affinity Healthcare Solutions is seeking a
Senior Business Analyst
to support the successful delivery of Salesforce-enabled healthcare initiatives, including projects leveraging Salesforce Health Cloud. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to elicit requirements, analyze business processes, and support solution design aligned to the Department of Health's standards and frameworks.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in healthcare systems, familiarity with Canadian public health environments, and demonstrated expertise with Salesforce solutions in complex, multi-stakeholder settings.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Salesforce-based solutions.
• Support end-to-end implementation efforts, including requirements validation, solution design reviews, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Map current and future state workflows to identify improvement opportunities and system gaps.
• Translate complex healthcare business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories.
• Liaise between business stakeholders and Salesforce developers/configurators to ensure accurate interpretation and execution of requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups to drive stakeholder alignment and engagement.
• Analyze data flows and integration requirements across existing systems and the Salesforce platform.
• Support change management efforts through documentation, training materials, and user engagement.
• Ensure all business analysis deliverables comply with privacy, security, and regulatory standards in Canadian healthcare environments.
• Track issues, risks, and decisions related to business requirements and solution impacts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or digital health environments.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce projects; Health Cloud experience is
  highly preferred

• Strong understanding of Canadian public healthcare systems, policies, and privacy regulations.
• Proven experience gathering and documenting requirements in large-scale, multi-vendor environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and/or hybrid project delivery methods.
• Experience supporting data-driven initiatives and system integrations in healthcare contexts.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills.
• Experience with business process modeling tools and techniques (e.g., BPMN, Visio).
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst) is an asset.
