Commercial Glazier — New & Experienced Workers

About Us We are a Calgary-based commercial glazing company specializing in storefronts, curtain walls and aluminum doors. We value safety, quality workmanship, teamwork, and punctuality.

Position Overview: Hiring multiple new and experienced commercial glaziers and glazing apprentices for installation on job sites in Calgary and surrounding area.

Opportunities for apprenticeship-style training and advancement for entry-level hires; competitive pay and performance-based increases for experienced candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Install, storefronts, curtain walls, windows, doors, and exterior glazing systems.

Measure, cut, and install aluminum components per shop drawings and specifications.

Read and follow construction drawings, shop drawings, and glazing details.

Apply sealants, gaskets, setting blocks, and weatherproofing materials

Operate glazing-specific hand and power tools, hoists, and suction cups safely.

Complete on-site quality checks and

Maintain clean, organized work areas and care for company equipment

Report safety concerns and follow all WHMIS and site-specific safety protocols

Qualifications

New hires: motivated, physically fit, able to work at heights, willing to learn; previous construction or trade experience an asset

Experienced glaziers: 2+ years commercial glazing experience preferred.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.

Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolding or boom lifts (training provided where needed)

Ability to read basic drawings and follow instructions

Good communication and teamwork skills

Eligible to work in Canada; English language required.

Certifications & Safety

Fall arrest, WHMIS, arial work platform and first aid certifications preferred (company can assist with/arrange certifications for the right candidates)

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive hourly wage based on experience (range discussed during interview)

Specialized tools and gear will be provided by the company, how ever, employees are responsible for supplying their own "every day" hand and power tools.
