About the role:

The ideal candidate will possess diverse marketing experience and skills. Your primary focus will be to assist the marketing team in various digital and traditional initiatives, requiring you to juggle multiple projects, but giving you the chance to gain a wide range of experience. You hold strong digital marketing acumen, solid written skills, graphic design skills, and an ambitious and outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

  • To support an engaged, trusting and mutually profitable relationship between franchisees and the franchisor
  • Support the marketing team with day-to-day operations and project coordination
  • Set-up, optimize and analyze digital campaigns including Google/Bing Search Advertising, Display Advertising, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube Advertising
  • Assist with the set-up, maintenance on monitoring of various digital marketing campaigns
  • Compile monthly accurate reports for key stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Develop internal communications, including newsletters and presentations
  • Support the execution of franchisee marketing requests and store opening strategies
  • Help manage and update content on the company website, implementing SEO best practices and utilizing 3rd party tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Assist social media management and content development
  • Provide graphic design support for print and digital assets using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
  • Ensure all marketing materials are supportive of, and consistent with, marketing strategies and brand guidelines
  • Contribute to brainstorming and creative development for campaigns and content
  • Stay current on marketing trends, tools, and best practices
  • Support coordination of and represent the brand at tradeshows.
  • Additional duties may be assigned or re-assigned from time to time

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of marketing experience, preferred (internships considered)
  • Successful completion of a college/university program (preferably in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Communications)
  • Experience using Google Ads, Analytics, and other digital marketing tools accompanied by relevant certifications (e.g. Google Ads)
  • Practical experience using Google Analytics and other SEO tools to analyze website performance to make recommendations based on best practices. Relevant certifications a definite asset
  • Proven experience using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite with a talent for creating eye-catching marketing materials aligned with our brand standards
  • Knowledge of various social media channels and business directories, including Facebook, Instagram, Google My Business, etc.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms. MailChimp expertise is an asset
  • Experience with Wordpress CMS
  • Superior writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently, together with the ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel throughout Canada and the U.S.
  • Experience working for a franchise or multi-unit business is an asset
