Job Summary:

We are looking for a smart, dependable Office Assistant to support the daily operations of our busy mechanic shop. The right person should have basic knowledge of mechanical work, be able to deal professionally with customers, coordinate with technicians, and work efficiently on the computer with fast typing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone
  • Communicate clearly between the office and workshop staff
  • Handle customers with calm and polite responses
  • Understand general mechanical work (oil change, brakes, engine work, etc.) to explain jobs and updates to customers
  • Create and manage job cards, estimates, and invoices using computer software
  • Keep track of work progress and customer follow-ups
  • Maintain clean and organized records (both digital and paper)
  • Perform fast and accurate typing for data entry and documentation
  • Help keep the front office area clean and professional

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical repairs is required
  • Prior experience in a mechanic shop or customer-facing office role is a plus
  • High-speed typing skills (40–50+ WPM) and strong computer knowledge
  • Strong communication and multitasking ability
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Calm under pressure and able to deal with customers
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary:

  • Based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time
