Position Title : Accounts Payable Clerk (Temporary – 4 Weeks)

Location : Scarborough, ON

Hourly Rate : $25/hour

Assignment Summary:

We are seeking a reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to provide short-term coverage for a 4-week leave of absence. The role supports our Finance Department with day-to-day processing of supplier invoices, payment runs, and account reconciliations. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Process and match supplier invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders.

* Verify approvals and coding of invoices in accordance with company policy.

* Enter invoices into the accounting/ERP system (Epicor P21).

* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

* Prepare weekly cheque or EFT payment runs.

* File and maintain A/P documentation in both paper and digital formats.

* Assist with month-end accruals and other routine financial tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

* 2+ years of recent experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting support.

* Strong data entry accuracy and organizational skills.

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems.

* Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor P21 experience considered an asset).

* Clear and professional English communication (spoken and written) is essential.

* – Must be able to read and interpret supplier invoices, correspondence, and company procedures.

* – Must be able to communicate effectively with vendors and internal staff.

* Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Must be available for the full 4-week term (Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm).

Work Environment:

On-site position at our Scarborough facility.

Office-based administrative role within a small finance team.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $25.00 per hour
