Burlington, Ontario, Canada SecondShop Full time

SecondShop is a fast-growing recommerce company focused on giving appliances and electronics a second life. We operate at the intersection of logistics, refurbishment, and e-commerce, solving complex supply-chain challenges while delivering great value to customers. Our logistics function is central to how we scale efficiently, reliably, and profitably.

The Role

We're looking for a Bilingual Logistics / Dispatch Coordinator to play a critical role in the day-to-day execution of our outbound logistics operations. This role is responsible for coordinating carriers and drivers, tracking shipments, resolving delivery issues, and ensuring clear communication across teams — in both English and French.

You'll sit at the heart of our logistics engine, ensuring shipments move on time, carriers are held accountable, and issues are resolved quickly and professionally.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers and drivers
  • Track shipments and maintain accurate, real-time status updates in internal systems
  • Proactively communicate delivery updates, delays, and exceptions to customers and internal teams (English & French)
  • Present and follow up on weekly carrier scorecards, driving performance and accountability
  • Identify, source, and onboard new carriers as needed
  • Maintain accurate lane-based rate cards, carrier contact details, and escalation protocols
  • Ensure all shipping documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with transportation regulations
  • Investigate and resolve delivery exceptions and customer inquiries promptly
  • Prepare daily and weekly reports on delivery performance, lead times, and carrier reliability
  • Work Tuesday-Saturdays regularly

Who We're Looking For

  • Bilingual: Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
  • Experience: 3+ years in logistics, dispatch, or transportation coordination
  • Education: High school diploma required; post-secondary education in logistics or supply chain is an asset
  • Organisation & Communication: Highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident communicating with multiple stakeholders
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable using MS Office and logistics / transportation management systems
  • Problem Solving: Able to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and resolve issues quickly
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with carrier operations and transportation regulations

What We Offer

  • A hands-on role with real ownership in a fast-growing logistics operation
  • Exposure to end-to-end supply chain execution in a scaling business
  • A collaborative, no-nonsense operations culture focused on execution and accountability
  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • The opportunity to grow with the business as our logistics footprint expands
