Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and services, ensuring efficient warehouse distribution, and optimizing supply chain processes. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics operations, including purchasing, order fulfillment, and transportation management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee warehouse distribution activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Manage purchasing processes and collaborate with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and sourcing.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency within the supply chain.
  • Utilize transportation management systems to coordinate freight logistics effectively.
  • Analyze data related to inventory levels, demand planning, and order fulfillment to inform decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and CMMS for tracking materials management.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving operations, ensuring compliance with packaging standards.
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations.
  • Operate forklifts as needed for order picking and materials handling within the warehouse.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and processes.
  • Proficient in data analysis skills to interpret logistics metrics effectively.
  • Familiarity with freight operations, shipping & receiving protocols, and order fulfillment strategies.
  • Experience with e-commerce logistics and packaging requirements is advantageous.
  • Understanding of procurement practices, including sourcing strategies for materials management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities.

Pay: $48,605.60-$72,308.06 per year
