Position Overview

We're looking for a Community Relations Coordinator who lives in Beaver County, to be the welcoming face of Claystone and a key connector between our organization and the communities we serve. This role combines front-office reception duties with community engagement, event coordination, and program administration. If you're passionate about building relationships, organizing events, and making a positive impact, we'd love to hear from you

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary receptionist, greeting visitors and managing inquiries.
  • Represent Claystone at community events, open houses, and public meetings.
  • Plan and coordinate community-focused events and engagement activities.
  • Act as liaison for the Public Advisory Committee, supporting meetings and communications.
  • Administer the Community Grant Program, including application intake and reporting.
  • Assist with community-focused communications such as newsletters, social media, and public information materials.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in reception, customer service, government relations, or public-facing roles.
  • Event planning and coordination experience required; grant program administration is an asset.
  • Diploma or certificate in communications, public relations, community development, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, friendly approach.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new tools.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends and lift up to 25 lbs for event setup.
  • Must live within Beaver County, preference will be given with those who are in proximity to the Ryley site.
