Job Duties( PLEASE READ CAREFULLY) THIS IS A VOLUNTEER POSITION.

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Volunteer Community Outreach Coordinator to lead our community engagement initiatives. This role involves developing and implementing outreach strategies to foster strong relationships with community members, organizations, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, public speaking abilities, and experience in project management to effectively promote our organization's mission and programs.

Duties

  • Develop and execute comprehensive community outreach plans aligned with organizational goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with local community groups, schools, businesses, and government agencies
  • Organize and participate in community events, workshops, and informational sessions
  • Lead public speaking engagements to promote programs and initiatives
  • Manage volunteer recruitment, training, and supervision to support outreach activities
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate outreach effectiveness and inform future strategies
  • Coordinate marketing efforts through social media, newsletters, and other communication channels
  • Oversee administrative tasks related to outreach projects, including reporting and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure outreach activities align with organizational objectives

Experience

  • Supervising experience in community programs or related fields
  • Strong public speaking skills with experience presenting to diverse audiences
  • Proven project management abilities, including planning, execution, and evaluation of initiatives
  • Background in marketing or communications preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience supervising teams or volunteers
  • Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting for program evaluation
  • Administrative experience managing schedules, budgets, or documentation processes
  • Recruiting experience for volunteer or staff positions is a plus
  • Teaching or training experience that involves educational outreach or workshops
