About the Company
CYBERWELL is a Canadian-founded cybersecurity leader built from the integration of multiple proven firms with decades of frontline expertise. From securing patient data to defending national infrastructure, we deliver adaptive, human-led cybersecurity that scales with the needs of our clients. We're not just a service provider – we're a resilience partner, built on trust and focused on outcomes.
About the Role
We are looking for a driven Account Executive who thrives on hunting for new opportunities and building long-term client partnerships. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels in solution selling, is comfortable navigating ambiguity, and is relentless in pursuing success for both the client and the organization. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to grow revenue through client acquisition, partner collaboration, and value-driven cybersecurity solutions.
Responsibilities
Business Growth & Client Acquisition
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through a hunter mindset and proactive lead generation.
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through networking, referrals, targeted outreach, and partner collaboration.
- Understand client business drivers and pain points to position tailored cybersecurity solutions that deliver measurable results.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from discovery to close, while maintaining a consultative, relationship-oriented approach that fosters trust and long-term value.
Client Partnership & Retention
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and expansion within existing accounts.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for clients, aligning solutions to evolving business goals.
- Maintain a high degree of responsiveness and professionalism while navigating complex client environments.
Partner & Ecosystem Collaboration
- Collaborate with key partners and vendors to drive joint go-to-market strategies, align co-selling initiatives, and maximize mutual success.
- Leverage partner relationships to uncover new leads, accelerate opportunities, and expand reach within target markets.
- Represent the organization in partner meetings, industry events, and joint marketing activities to strengthen brand presence and influence.
Required Skills
- Hunter mentality with the discipline and drive to create opportunities from scratch.
- Relationship builder who can develop trust quickly and maintain lasting client and partner connections.
- Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-changing environment.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills.
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect cybersecurity solutions to business outcomes.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
Qualifications
Education:
- Degree or certifications in business, technology, or a related field preferred. Continuous learning mindset is highly valued.
Experience:
- 3+ years of successful sales experience, ideally in cybersecurity, SaaS, or technology solution environments.
- Proven record of exceeding quotas and growing revenue through both new business and account expansion.
- Demonstrated success with solution selling, complex deal management, and value-based client engagement.
Additional Information
- Travel up to 40% as required.
- We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Even if you don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply if you have the passion and drive to succeed in this role.
