About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving new business development and managing existing client accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT consulting services, a passion for technology, and a proven track record in sales and account management.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Convverge's client base. This will include promoting Convverge's service offering to the market, understanding the customer's decision-making process, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and progressing deals though the sales cycle.
- Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and success. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their unique business needs and providing exceptional customer service (i.e.: preparing and conducting quarterly or annual reviews).
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies. Develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. Collaborate with Microsoft and other partners to support and drive customer opportunities.
- Client Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients. Clearly articulate the value of Convverge's services and solutions and demonstrate a clear understanding of how these will help customers achieve their business objectives.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs. Stay updated on competitors and industry developments.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status. Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and forecasts.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the IT consulting industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in partnering with technical teams to create compelling value propositions for clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A strong understanding of Microsoft technologies and solutions is preferred, but not mandatory.
