About the Opportunity

The firm is well-regarded for providing exceptional client service and delivering results in personal injury matters. You will manage a portfolio of files, representing clients in a variety of personal injury cases, while benefiting from the support of an experienced team and robust operational resources. This role provides autonomy in case management along with opportunities for professional growth, client development, and mentorship.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and advocate for clients in personal injury matters, including negotiations, mediations, and court appearances

  • Draft pleadings, settlement agreements, and other legal documents

  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice based on case-specific needs

  • Maintain regular and professional communication with clients and opposing counsel

  • Evaluate and advise on claims, settlements, and litigation strategies

  • Mentor junior lawyers and legal staff as appropriate

  • Contribute to business development and client retention initiatives

What We're Looking For:

  • JD (or equivalent) and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience practicing personal injury law

  • Strong courtroom advocacy and negotiation skills

  • Ability to manage a client caseload independently and efficiently

  • Excellent legal drafting, research, and organizational abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency with legal technology and case management systems

  • Prior experience at a reputable personal injury firm is an asset
