Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and experience in B2B sales, with the ability to engage clients across diverse industries including construction, manufacturing, and trades. The Sales Representative will play a key role in expanding our market presence across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley while fostering long-term customer relationships.
Duties
- Conduct outside sales efforts to identify and pursue new business opportunities within construction, welding, and industrial sectors
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients through strategic account management
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure favorable terms for both the company and clients
- Engage in business development activities to expand market reach and increase sales pipeline
- Utilize marketing tools and techniques to generate leads and promote construction and welding equipment
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical guidance tailored to client needs
- Use CRM platform for tracking sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
- Conduct in-person client visits, site assessments, and relationship-building activities
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and improve offerings
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through consultative selling approach
Experience
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in outside sales, B2B sales, or industrial/equipment sales roles
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully
- Experience in business development and account management within relevant industries
- Familiarity with marketing strategies that support sales growth
- Knowledge of Pipedrive, Salesforce, or other CRM tools for managing customer relationships and sales data
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret market data and customer insights for strategic planning
- Valid BC driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Prior experience in welding equipment, construction tools, or industrial supply sales is advantageous but not mandatory
- Background in trades (welding, construction, manufacturing) is a strong asset
- Existing relationships within Metro Vancouver trades or construction community is preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $80,000/year
- Commission: 8% on all sales (uncapped)
- OTE (On-Target Earnings): $160,000
- Vehicle allowance provided

Work Environment
Hybrid work model combining field sales, remote work, and office collaboration. Territory covers Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley. Office currently located in Langley Township with plans to relocate within Metro Vancouver.
