Independent Living Assistants provide assistance to adults with physical disabilities and seniors in activities of daily living, which includes:

  • Personal hygiene
  • Bowel/bladder care
  • Rising and retiring
  • Dressing/undressing
  • Meal preparation and eating
  • Bathing/showering
  • Transferring/repositioning
  • Light house cleaning

Qualifications/Specifications:

§ Ability to meet the scheduling requirements of the position (Including every second weekend)

§ Post-secondary education in Health-related field or PSW Certificate

§ Experience working with people with physical disabilities or in a long-term care setting preferred

§ Mature, committed individual

§ Current First Aid and CPR Certificate required

Also required is access to dependable transportation between locations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.72-$25.43 per hour
