ICAN provides assistance to live independently and inclusively in the community through individualized support and rehabilitation services.

$24.72-25.43 per hour

Independent Living Assistants provide assistance to adults with physical disabilities and seniors in activities of daily living, which includes:

- Personal hygiene
- Bowel/bladder care
- Rising and retiring
- Dressing/undressing
- Meal preparation and eating
- Bathing/showering
- Transferring/repositioning
- Light house cleaning

**Qualifications/Specifications**:

- Ability to meet the scheduling requirements of the position (Including every second weekend)
- Post-secondary education in Health-related field or PSW Certificate
- Experience working with people with physical disabilities or in a long-term care setting preferred
- Mature, committed individual
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate required

**Also required is access to dependable transportation between locations.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.72-$25.43 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Morning shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
