Martket Textile is growing, and we're hiring an experienced Heat Press Machine Operator to join our Made-in-Canada manufacturing team in Vancouver. You'll work in a clean, modern facility with both specialized and mid-scale production capabilities. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain heat press equipment to apply graphics, transfers, and embellishments to apparel, outerwear, bags, headwear, and accessories for our award-winning Branding division and a range of North American fashion partners and retailers. Experience across multiple product categories — including highly technical items — and with different substrates, transfer types, and strict quality standards is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heat press machines to transfer designs onto products according to specifications
  • Prepare materials for pressing, including arranging and positioning items on the press
  • Adjust machine settings, such as temperature and pressure, to ensure optimal results
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of heat press machines
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Heat Press Machine Operator or similar role
  • Experience in the garment printing, or promotional products industry is an asset
  • Familiarity with heat press machines and related equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20-30 pounds
