The Clinical Research Coordinator plays a vital role in the planning, implementation, and management of clinical trials. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively oversee research protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders including researchers, healthcare professionals, and study participants.
Duties
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of clinical trials from initiation to completion.
- Collect and manage data accurately, ensuring adherence to study protocols.
- Conduct patient assessments and oversee the recruitment process for study participants.
- Perform phlebotomy as required for sample collection.
- Supervise research staff and provide training on study procedures.
- Analyze data collected during trials to ensure integrity and accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of trial activities, including regulatory submissions and reports.
- Communicate effectively with investigators, sponsors, and regulatory bodies regarding trial progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as nursing or life sciences is preferred.
- Experience in clinical research or a related area is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to clinical research settings.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience leading teams or coordinating projects.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
