Overview

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers needing vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish. Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns
  • Schedule service appointments and manage the flow of work in the service department
  • Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance, explaining necessary services clearly
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Upsell additional services or maintenance based on customer needs and vehicle requirements
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster ongoing relationships
  • Maintain detailed records of service orders, customer interactions, and vehicle history
  • Promote dealership services, specials, and maintenance plans to enhance customer loyalty

Skills

  • Previous dealership experience is highly desirable
  • Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience is a strong plus, enabling better communication with technicians and customers but not required
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Strong sales ability with confidence in upselling appropriate services and products
  • Knowledge of automotive repair processes and common vehicle issues is an asset but not required
  • Effective communication skills to explain technical information clearly to customers
  • Cash handling experience for processing payments accurately
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
