We are currently hiring for an ECE Infant-Toddler (ECEIT) position.

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for children. This role is essential in shaping young minds and providing them with the foundational skills needed for their educational journey. The Educator will work closely with students in a classroom setting, implementing engaging lesson plans and activities that promote growth and development.

Duties

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and the developmental needs of children.
  • Educate children through interactive, hands-on activities that support a variety of learning styles and developmental levels.
  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that supports emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities by using inclusive teaching strategies and individualized care.
  • Observe, assess, and document children's progress and development, and communicate regularly with parents or guardians.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to plan curriculum, share ideas, and improve classroom strategies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom space that encourages exploration and creativity.
  • Promote positive social interactions and help children build communication and self-regulation skills.
  • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, transitions, meals, and rest times to ensure safety and engagement.
  • Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety policies, and daycare protocols.
  • Communicate openly and respectfully with parents, colleagues, and supervisors to support a positive center culture.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings as required.

Qualifications

  • ECE Infant-Toddler certification (ECEIT).
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification
  • Experience working with young children in a daycare or similar setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
  • Understanding of child development and inclusive practices

Eligibility Requirement (Important)

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Must not require employer sponsorship (e.g., LMIA).
