Key Duties:

  • Prepare outgoing shipments to ensure customer's requirements and specifications including packaging, labelling, and arranging transportation.
  • Unload and examine incoming shipments, report damaged items, record shortages, and collaborate with Procurement on damages/shortages.
  • Perform periodic inventory task (cycle counts, location verification & troubleshooting)
  • Deliver to internal and external customers when needed based on delivery schedules (i.e. Branch orders, patients/customers orders, etc.) 
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in processing all inbound and outbound shipments using MRG's ERP
  • Maintain daily 5S responsibilities by keeping the warehouse area organize, clean and clear.
  • Clean returned equipment based on set standard operating procedures.
  • Work effectively with team members and other departments to complete daily task and address issues when they arise.
  • Assist in identifying process improvements and implementing solutions to enhance warehouse & logistics productivity and efficiency.
  • Act as a relief Procurement Buyer when needed following policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as required.

Safety:

  • Maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure safety policies and properly applied and enforced.
  • Maintain 5S/GWP (Good Warehousing Practices)

Regulatory Compliance

  • Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements.
  • Safeguards distribution center operations and contents by adhering to safety, security procedures and protocols. 

Customer Service

  • Work with all Company departments to ensure customer satisfaction and new opportunities for business and product growth.
  • Prioritize and schedule and work assignments, and to ensure the best possible service to external and internal customer.
  • Communicate resource issues in a timely manner to branches to ensure on time delivery to our customers.

 Work Experience/ Requirements:

  • Minimum two years warehouse & logistics experience.
  • Strong computer skills, ERP experience an asset.
  • Class 5 GDL license with clean drivers abstract.
  • Ability to juggle various responsibilities, demands, personalities and time constraints.
  • Must be a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen.

Educational Requirements:

  • High school education required.
  • Technical education in Supply Chain is an asset but not required.
  • TDG and WHIMIS certification (training provided if not current)
