Medical Office Assistant/receptionist for a Busy Family Practice, Casual needed Immediately.

Permanent MOA needed form December October27th, 2025.

Job type*** - MOA Permanent part time and permanent Casual

*Answering phone, greeting and registering, scheduling patients.

*Responding to patient enquiries in person and by phone.

*Initiating form, creating billings, collecting payments for services not covered by insurance or OHIP.

*Escorting patients to exam rooms and preparing patients for physician.

*Cleaning and preparing exam room between patients.

*Performing diagnostic testing as ordered by the physician, urine analysis, pregnancy test.

*Performing height, weight, blood pressure, temperature as requested by physician.

*Scheduling and notifying patients appointments.

*Scanning patient documents into electronic medical records ( EMR ) as required.

*Opening mail, receiving fax and distributing as appropriate.

*Completing daily, weekly, monthly chore lists as required.

*Send referrals and advise patients as required.

*Performing other duties as assigned.

*Medical Office Assistant or equivalent qualification.

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*Ability to handle stressful situations, High volume, and fast -paced

*Flexible, reliable, organized and excellent team player.

*Able to multitask an work in a busy environment.

* Time management skills to be able to prioritize activities specially when there is a high volume of tasks.

*Attention to details to ensure that all memos and tasks are error free.

*Positive attitude for greeting patients upon arrival.

*Communication skills-to be able to communicate with internal team members, patients and Understand their needs.

*Strong organizational skills to keep Multiple calendrers organized.

* Administrative skills - to be able to use basic computer programs, Microsoft office.

* Flexibility - to be able to move between activities and duties if priorities changes.

*Ability to innovative and take initiatives to help the practice Grow.

*Strong sense of integrity and professionalism and commitments.

*Respectful of all ethical considerations and strict confidentiality.

*Ability to be empathic with patients .

*Organizes and files company documents .

*Filing, recalling. billing, keeping clinic tidy, ordering vaccine etc. Candidate must have EMR training , PSS is preferred. New Graduate welcomed.
