Job Description

We are looking for passionate tennis coaches to join our growing team The selected coach will be responsible for the coordination and execution of private and group tennis lessons and programs offered by Precision Tennis. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized and has a passion for working with adults & children of all ages.

Precision Tennis Inc. is a private company that provides tennis instructional services both on a private basis and on behalf for the City of Vancouver Board of Parks & Recreation. Our goal is to be the premier public tennis instruction provider while growing the popularity and accessibility of tennis in the Lower Mainland. Through our instructional programs, we connect tennis players of all ages and abilities with certified professionals. Our coaches are passionate about what they do and love being part of the Precision Tennis family

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute tennis lesson plans for indivuduals and small groups of students (max 6 students/coach)
  • Communicate with students regarding logistics, cancellations, rescheduling & lesson materials.
  • Maintain a professional, safe and positive environment conducive to learning.
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with students, managers & fellow team members

Skills Required

  • Strong and clear communication
  • 4.5+ NTRP tennis player with competitive experience
  • Knowledge of exercise and instructional methodologies
  • Ability to work with children ages 6-18 years old.
  • Enthusiasm to learn new things daily.

* Note: TPA (Tennis Canada) Instructor Certification and Emergency First-Aid Certification are requirements for this position.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $30.00-$60.00 per hour
