POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for developing strong relationships with clients and having deep understanding of customer needs to act as a liaison and main point of contact between the customer and internal departments. The role coordinates internal resources and company abilities in order to respond quickly to customer needs to ensure high level of customer experience and satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct communication with customers through phone, email, and fax as required
- Assist outside sales representatives as required for complex orders
- Enter customer orders into an ERP system
- Receive and analyze drawings, review incoming orders for completeness and accuracy, strong attention to detail is a must
- Trouble shoot processing issues within team, scheduling, and production
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Assist customers on tracking and expediting orders as required
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Completion of high school/ GED. Diploma in Architectural studies or CAD is an asset.
- Ability to read and comprehend drawings.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3-years customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and sales order software and strong keyboarding skills
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and diagrams is an asset.
- Fluency in English, written and verbal is essential
- Excellent time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of the glass industry, (tempering, I.G., laminated glass, fabricated glass) an asset.
- Excellent communication skills
