Position: Security Team Lead Site: University Health Network - West Park - 170 Emmett Ave, York Overtime: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours Status: Full-Time Hours: Continental Nights hrs.) Pay Rate: $21.59 Posting Date: February 2, 2026 Internal Expiry: February 6, 2026 External Expiry: February 13, 2026
Key responsibilities:
Provides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training Ensures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shift Ensures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and site-specific security policies and proceduresPlans and implements shift work schedulesEnsures all Security Guards have received the mandatory trainingMotivates staff and issues commendationsDisciplines staff when necessary and ensures proper documentation is passed onto head officePerforms security auditsDocuments and investigates security incidents and complaintsProvide proactive and reactive security patrols.Communicates any concerns/issues with Client Service ManagerPrerequisites:
Valid Security License for the province of OntarioValid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved providerCovid Vaccine two dosesProof of up to date immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella and two step Tuberculosis skin testMust be willing to complete N95 Mask fit testing during the trainingVulnerable Sector Check Minimum 1 year of healthcare supervisory experience preferred Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure. Proven ability to train, direct, and motivate staff. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Legally authorized to work in Canada Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionPlease be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
