What You Will Do

• Manage select projects under the guidance of senior staff, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating project activities.
• Assist with various tasks and projects assigned by supervisors or senior team members to support the overall success of the engineering teams and company objectives.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to our company's values of quality, client focus, teamwork, sustainability, and community, integrating these principles into daily work practices and interactions with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
• Actively participating in industry and community organizations, including attendance at events.

Perform responsible and varied engineering assignments, applying comprehensive knowledge of a specific engineering discipline and its impact on other disciplines.

• Solve problems using a combination of standard procedures, modifications of standard procedures, or methods developed from previous assignments
• Interpret customer requirements, investigate design and field engineering difficulties, and coordinate work schedules.
• Consult with suppliers independently to secure appropriate procedures for projects.
• Contact approval agencies and clients as directed by senior engineers.
• Participate in planning to achieve prescribed budget, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Prepare progress reports, recommend changes in designs, estimate costs, and recommend payments for completed work.
• Maintain knowledge of related architectural and engineering disciplines.
• Refer unusual problems to senior engineers or specialists.
• Contact associates in other departments to discuss and advise on project requirements.

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, applied sciences, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Professional engineering certification with the P.E.O.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and methods.
• Experience with engineering software and tools (e.g., Revit, CAD software).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and judgment in solving complex issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with related architectural and engineering disciplines.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and coordinate work schedules.
• Proficiency in preparing progress reports and cost estimates.
• Experience in project management and the ability to manage select projects under the guidance of senior staff.
