Role At a Glance
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Civil Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and preparing engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD and Civil3D. Attention to detail is essential to ensure work meets high-quality standards and adheres to CAD/Civil 3D guidelines. The position also involves technical writing to support project documentation and communication.

What You Will Do
- Assist with the development of engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.
- Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data.
- Assist in preparing engineering drawings, plans, or layouts from sketches.
- Assist project managers and designers with designing various municipal, subdivision and site plan development projects.
- Assist project managers and designers with CAD drafting of engineering plans.
What You Bring to the Table
- Graduate of a Civil Engineering Technology program.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D and a willingness to further develop technical skills.
- Internship or co-op experience in a consulting engineering environment is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated to learn, take on new challenges, and grow professionally with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
