Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately
  • Process cash, credit, and debit transactions efficiently
  • Prepare simple food items as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and cashier stations in compliance with sanitation regulations.
  • Manage order accuracy and communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary restrictions.
  • Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally, striving for guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Required FoodSafe certificate and Serving It Right certificate
  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant industry, or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
  • Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85 per hour
