The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating and delivering components of Canada's marketing communications strategy which includes event sponsorship, digital marketing campaigns, sales collateral, email campaign development and execution, and corresponding triaging of marketing support requests. While this role focuses on execution, the incumbent will have the opportunity to weigh in strategic direction and own event sponsorship and campaigns from end to end.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain marketing request reporting dashboard
  • Maintain marketing and PR SharePoint and single point of contact for asset requirements
  • WorkFront project submission and HighSpot uploading where applicable
  • Ownership of the marketing and PR triage process ensuring initiative management and prioritization
  • Write content and develop collateral such as whitepapers, guides, and presentations
  • Webinar coordination and production as a demand generation tool. For example, pre-recorded or live events that can then be used to generate interest and product inquiries for sales
  • Develop and run adhoc email programs. For example, quarterly execution of the partner essentials series – this series could be extended to HHS. The successful incumbent would also be encouraged to workshop other opportunities to advance an email program

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business and/ or Marketing required, MBA considered an asset
  • 3 years or more of digital marketing experience
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, Canva, SharePoint and Maropost skills are an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively balance operational and strategic needs
  • Excels at managing time and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to move multiple projects forward in parallel for multiple stakeholders with minimal supervision
  • Can confidently adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Has the ability to work autonomously
  • Bilingualism is an asset
