Mito Contracting Group Inc. is a leading Building Automation Systems contractor specializing in Niagara Framework, Sedona Framework, and JCI Facility Explorer. We design, install, and service automation systems that improve comfort, energy efficiency, and building performance across GTA.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Technician with strong technical and troubleshooting skills. The ideal candidate can work independently, handle complex integrations, and take ownership of system commissioning and service work.

Responsibilities

  • Install, program, and commission BAS systems using Niagara N4, Sedona, and JCI Facility Explorer.
  • Integrate HVAC, lighting, and other systems using BACnet, Modbus, and similar protocols.
  • Diagnose and resolve control system and communication issues.
  • Complete project documentation and communicate effectively with clients and project managers.
  • Perform service calls, upgrades, and system optimization.
  • Work evenings or weekends as needed to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on BAS experience (Niagara / JCI preferred).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with HVAC systems, DDC controls, and networking.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • 631A Controls Technician (Building Automation) license preferred or equivalent experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
