Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/tax preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely filings of clients tax requirements. Experience in personal tax preparation. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software.

Duties

  • Manage required bookkeeping tasks for various clients
  • Process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to verify cash balances.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, QBO for efficient record-keeping.
  • Preparation of personal tax returns for various clients

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, QBO and Profile
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with payroll processing and related regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$29.25 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
