Tax Preparer

Liberty Tax has an exciting opportunity for a Tax Preparer in our Kitchener, ON office. As a member of the team at Liberty, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns while delivering outstanding customer service.

Tax Preparer duties include:

  • Provide each client with exceptional service
  • Conduct a thorough client tax interview
  • Precisely input all client data into the tax software
  • Accurately explain the tax return, collect required signatures
  • Ensure client confidentiality and privacy at all times
  • Assist with business growth and local marketing
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Tax preparation experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
  • Proficient computer skills, (Microsoft office, word, etc)
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, friendly attitude

*Hourly rate based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $17.60-$19.50 per hour
